In the distance future, humanity no longer fights in wars—well at least normal people. Now, it’s a thankless job taken up by your standard war drones. No longer limited by the prison of flesh, the merging of advanced cybernetics and the human brain, Drones are able to travel across the galaxy without so much as a ding in their exo-armor.

But what happens to a Drone once it’s brain begins to repair itself and starts synapsing and becoming a little too human? Commander William is investigating a former drone, squadron leader Mike—or as he calls himself, Merritt, and what exactly do autonomous drones or Thralls as they called pose such a threat to the greater P. E. A. C. E.  Federation.
